Men's Golf Events
Sign-up for all men's events will be on the bulletin board in the Men's Locker Room at least two weeks prior to the event commencing..
1. Match Play Championship
Entry Fee: $15.00 per person
|Factor:||Class A: 0-6||Class AA: 7-11|
|Class B: 12-14||Class BB: 15-18|
|Class C: 19-25||Class CC: 25+|
Open to: Full (7-day), Intermediate and Student members with an established handicap (minimum 5 games). Number of classes subject to participation.
2. Thue Trophy - Entry Fee: $15.00 per person
Open to: Full (7-day), Intermediate and Student members with an established handicap (minimum 5 games). This is an open class match play competition whereby strokes are allotted on the differential between 80% of each player's handicap.
3. Men's Pairs - Entry Fee: $15.00 per person
Open to: Full (7-day), Intermediate and Student members with an established handicap (minimum 5 games). This is an open class two-ball, best-ball match play event. Rules for the calculation of the handicap differential will be posted.
4. Twilight League

Entry Fee: $20.00 per person (charged monthly)
This is a weekly nine-hole competition with an eighteen-hole final on Saturday, August 21st. Two-man teams compete for points each week. Teams should be prearranged, however, if you wish to join and do not have a partner, please signify on the sign-up form.
5. Men's Intersectionals

Open to: Full (7-day), Intermediate, Student and Junior members. Our Club is represented in these two annual inter-club, match play events held by the Montreal District of Golf Quebec. Ten players and two alternates will be chosen according to qualifying rounds.
6. Men's Member/Guest Day
Date: Friday August 3rd
Note: Here is the opportunity to show your friends and business associates the beauty and challenge of the Hawkesbury Golf Course. Dinner included.
7. Club Championship

Open to: Full (7-day), Intermediate and Student members (Juniors by invitation only). This is a 54 holes stroke (medal) play competition. (No. of classes subject to participation.
8. Thanksgiving Scramble - Date: October 8th - Murray Champagne
This is a two-man Scramble, with a minimum combined team index of 15.
9. Senior Men's Intersectionals -Pierre St-Gelais
Seniors 55 and over. Qualifying rounds: June/July
10. Sunshine Boys

The season will begin on Wednesday, May 5th at 8:30 a.m. and finish on September 22th. All seniors 55 and over are invited to play although space is limited. A sign-up sheet will be posted for players wishing to spare.
Ladies Major Competitions
Note: A one-time fee of $15.00 will be charged to every woman who participates in any event organized by the Ladies Committee to cover prizes and general expenses.
1. Walton Trophy/Walton Consolation
Open to all members. Match play with full handicap to 40. Walton Trophy participants must be prepared to play matches on weekdays. Directors Trophy participants must be prepared to play matches on weekends.
2. Ladies Pairs
Open to all members. Match Play with full handicap to 40. Net Best Ball. Choose your partner.
Match Events – Men's & Mixed

Note: All match deadlines will be strictly enforced in 2006. If you plan to be away for an extended period during the summer, it is suggested you do not sign up for the match events. Please schedule all matches as soon as possible in each round and if you have trouble reaching your opponent contact the event organizer. Do not leave the scheduling until a few days before the deadline.
There are no qualifying rounds for Men's, Ladies or Mixed Match Play events. Simply register by signing up on the appropriate entry posted in locker rooms or on main bulletin board.
Reminders: If you have signed up for any Club tournament and then find that you are unable to attend, you are obliged to call the Pro Shop (613-632-6441) at least 48 hours prior to the event. Failure to do so will result in the entry fee being billed to your account.

The sign-up sheets for these mixed events will be posted on the main bulletin board outside the locker rooms approximately three weeks before each event. Please watch for the notices as they include all details on the event, including the organizers, the price, the tee-off times and whether meals are involved. If the event allows five-day members to play this will also be noted. Please sign-up early and enjoy the golf season.
