Ladies’ Curling

Monday evenings

Monday night is girl's night out. Join the ladies for some laughs and fun. Teams are created from sign up sheets and draws are done about every 4-5 weeks. Come see the "softer" side of curling.

Men’s Curling

Tuesday evening

Tuesday night is for boy's only. Bring your buddies our for some great curling. The winning teams buy the first beer. Draws are every 4-5 weeks. Get your name on the list and we'll make the teams.

Open/Mixed Curling

Wednesday evening

Wednesday night is a great night for couples who like to curl. Teams are made up of ladies and men who enjoying mixed curling in an easy going atmosphere. Draws are done every 4-5 weeks

Day Curling

Thursday day

Do you find it hard to stay up late? Thursday afternoons are a great alternative to evening curling. Open to all. You'll be home before dark (4pm.) Sign up sheets posted every 4-5 weeks. Now you'll have an evening free.

Open & Competitive Curling

Thursdays are for everyone. Play just for fun or if you have a competitive edge, you can put your own team together and improve your skills. Draws every 4-5 weeks. Who would you like on your team? It's a blast!!

TGIF Ladder

Friday evening

Thank God It's Friday. It's time to celebrate. Open to all, TGIF is a ladder competition that lasts all season long. Try as you might to get to the top, as there are prizes at

the end of the season. Get your team together now as the season begins Nov.6th.

PEP league

New this year. Ever wonder what it's like to be a skip? Play Every Position is open to everyone and provides an excellent opportunity to try any position. Sign up sheets are posted every 4-5 weeks. See curling from a different point of view. Join us.

Juniors

Sunday afternoons

Sunday afternoon is for juniors. Your children aged 10-19 can come and learn how to curl with qualified instructors and have the opportunity to participate in competitive events. What a great way for your kids to learn curling and have fun with friends.

Swing & Sweep

Oct 30

This annual event marks the "right of passage" between golf season and curling season.

Teams of 4 will play 9 holes of golf and 6 ends of curling. No experience is required, just bring your sense of humor. This fun day includes prizes and dinner. It is the perfect opportunity to come out and give curling a try. It's everyone's "first day." Sign up early to reserve your spot.

Once a month on Saturday's we gather together in our quest to win the coveted Crystal Glass. This is a very popular event for a maximum of 32 players, so signing up early is a must. Teams are drawn and one 8 end game played. The 4 members of each of the winning teams, each throw one rock for points in a shoot out. The team with the most points wins 4 Crystal glasses. Points are carried over to the end of the season, where the top 3 curlers with the most points, will win a Crystal prize. Don't miss your chance to win some crystal.

Turkey Bonspiel

Nov 16-20

This annual event has been around for more than 50 years. That's a lot of Turkey!!! All are welcome to sign up. You will  play 2 weekday evening games and 2 games on Saturday. Points are awarded and teams are placed into divisions with similar skills so everyone has a chance to win a turkey. On Saturday we compete within the divisions, for grand prizes and celebrate with

a wonderful dinner. Come out and participate in this Historic Event.

Ladies Bonspiel

This is our time to shine and show off our Curling Club. Hawkesbury ladies invite ladies from neighboring curling clubs to join them in a little friendly competition. It's a time to visit old friends and make some new ones. Each team pays a set fee and prizes are awarded and lunch is usually included.

Super Senior Bonspiel

This bonspiel is for men aged 55 and over. Hawkesbury's proud super senior men invite super senior men from a variety of local clubs to join them for an afternoon of curling. Teams pay a

set fee to participate, prizes are awarded and lunch is usually provided. This is great fun and

for local bragging rights.

Senior Open Bonspiel

This open event is for men over 50 and women over 45 years of age. Hawkesbury "Seniors," invite "Seniors" from other clubs to join them for two days of curling. Teams pay a set fee to participate for prizes. Who knew curling with “Seniors" could be so much fun??

Valentine Bonspiel

Feb 8-12

For all those who have a little "cupid" in their hearts, this bonspiel is for you. It's a perfect couple event. Guys and girls wear their hearts on their sleeves as they compete in 2 weekday evening games and follow up with 2 games on Saturday. Points are awarded for matches and teams are placed into similar skill divisions, where they compete for prizes. It is a perfect date night as we have a lovely dinner planned. Come out and curl with Cupid.

St. Pat’s Super Senior Open Bonspiel

Irish eyes are shining on you all day long for this very popular event. Men and women aged

over 55 years come together to celebrate the luck of the Irish. Hawkesbury Super Seniors invite Super Seniors from other clubs to participate. Teams pay a set fee to play. Winners receive prizes and all enjoy a hearty Irish lunch (and perhaps a little Irish Beer.) May the luck of the

Irish be with you.

Closing Bonspiel

Join us as we celebrate the end of another successful curling season. Winter has come and gone and we have had so much fun curling together. Join us for one last time. Show off your new curling skills as we play 2 weekday evening games and 2 games on Saturday. Points are awarded throughout the week and teams are split up into divisions whereby, we compete

against those just as "talented" as we are. The evening is a celebration of dinner, music,

dancing and prizes. Definitely not to be missed!!!
